2018 Savings Challenge

We’re BBBAAACCCCKKKKK!!! That’s right, you asked for it so now you have it. The 2018 Bi-weekly Savings Challenge is here! Every other week on our Instagram Page, we will post the deposit amounts you need each pay period in order to save $5,000 by the end of the year. We’ll also remind you of how much your total should be following that week’s deposit. Once you have made your deposit please let us know by commenting below the post using #BLACKunicornsSAVE.  The deposits amounts will also be listed on our Twitter and Facebook pages.  That way there’s no excuse to not make those deposits!

Below you will find FREE printables for weekly and bi-weekly options, as well as alternative savings goals. Since you’re here, read up on some of our finance tips and articles so you can know what to do with all of this money once you reach your goal.  It’s never too late to get started; just join us where we are or start from the beginning on your own.  Any amount of savings is better than none at all.  Happy SAVING!

Latrice Sampson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, and CEO of Sampson Therapeutic Services, LLC. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Latrice holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana—Lafayette as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Latrice is a transformational speaker and uses her gifts to enhance the lives of others, which she believes is her calling.
