This bootcamp journey has been full of ups and downs…literally! During the first two weeks of the program I was less than please with the loss and subsequent gain of 1.2 lbs. In week 3, however, I felt something shift. Not so much of a physical shift, but an emotional and mental shift of sorts. It’s very cliche, but once I let go of the emotional connection I had to the number on the scale and all it represented I began to see real change take place. This is the first week that I get to celebrate a LOSS!!!!! The first of many wins I’m sure I’ll be rejoicing over in the weeks to come. It can be difficult to recognize small wins as progress when we are so focused on the destination. While it is important for us to keep our eyes on the prize; it is equally important to acknowledge the everyday gains that get us there. How many wins did you overlook this week? What were some of those successes? Leave a comment and let me know! Be well .
